Businiess name:  Joe Peeps' NY Pizza
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I was craving pizza today and decided to give Joe Peep's a try because of all the great reviews i read on Citysearch. When i got there, they had a parking lot in the back that was pretty empty so parking was not a problem. As i walked inside, it looked like a pretty sketchy place because of all the graffiti on the walls and ceiling, however the staff there seemed pretty nice. The price is reasonable (12"" cheese pizza for $9.99, $1.49/topping or $0.75/lite topping--lite topping is half the normal amount of topping). I got a pizza with lite pepperoni and it had more than enough pepperoni for me. They also charge an additional $0.49 if you get your order ""to go."" The wait was less than 20 minutes and i was being entertained as i waited-- i saw one of the workers there ""clean"" the table next to me with her bare hand. Apparently this isn't the cleanest place. Anyway, when i got home and ate the pizza, it really wasn't anything special. It was very greasy (more greasy than most pizzas), and i actually had to get two paper towels to dab off the oil on the top of the pizza because the oil was beginning to seep through the pizza box. The crust was all right, but again nothing special. Would i drive less than five miles to eat here again? Nope. Pros: Parking, reasonably priced Cons: Greasy, nothing special about the crust or taste
