I have been with this doctor for about a year. Since day 1, he has done three crowns and one rooto canal. The first one was needed, but the last two I don't believe they were. My new dentist does not believe the last one was needed either and was surprise I had so many crowns done. In any, the last crown he did, ended up in a root canal because of the intense pain. After the root canal, that he did, a discomfort sensation lingered. I have changed to another dentist that has helped decreasing the feelign of discomfort, but I still have a strange sensation on the tooth. All in all, the crown plus root canal were a total of $1800, in just three months. Dr. Hoffman is very charming but I do not need a charming dentist, I need a dentist I can trust is going to do dental work that is needed and not the most expensive work that under the "preventive" dentistry excuse I am being told I need, when I do not. Between my insurance and i, we have spent about $3500 in one year with him, and that j
