Businiess name:  De Soto Pharmacy

For as long as I can remember the DeSoto Pharmacy was a place that we as a family would shop weekly at. My mom was a very loyal customer (even when other, more value oriented pharmacies/stores would open) and continued to shop there for many years until . . . one time in 1974 (I was 11 at the time) while she was picking up her RX, I was browsing the candy aisle (all the while getting dirty, suspicious looks from the owner). I walked up to the front counter standing with my mother while she was making her purchase, the clerk with the owner standing behind the counter proceeded to verbally ream me about how I needed to fess up and hand over the supposed candy that they thought I had stolen. They said that they would not call the police if I would hand over the candy that I didn't have. Needless to say, after my mom got over the shock proceeded to verbally freak on them and said that she would never return to the store - of which she never did.
