Brought my car in to sell it. After a sit down presentation on how the appraisal process works and why they give you the best price available based on all this data...blablabla...you will be offered 1/2 of Kelly Blue Book TRADE IN value...equivalent to 1/3 the private party value. If you need immediate money and don't mind flushing money away - go for it. Otherwise sell it on ebay or another car sales site.
