Let me first say myself and both of my children have been seen at this practice over the past year and although I'm not ecstatic about this practice and would hesitate to recommend them because they lack bedside manner, they have been accurate with treatments and we have not had to return, so I would tolerate them EXCEPT, I had the most DEPLORABLE EXPERIENCE WITH DR. SCHULTZ BEING THE ON CALL PROVIDER YESTERDAY AT 4:45-545 PM!!! I am a health care professional myself and I have rarely seen such unprofessionalism and lack of concern for patient care when speaking directly with the patient EVER!! I called because a my 21 month old daughter was diagnosed with mild eczema by Dr. Schultz and was prescribed a steroid cream. She has had a couple of outbreaks over the 6 months and the medicine always works. I tried to refill the prescription the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and was informed she had no more refills. They sent a fax request, and I tried to pick up the prescription yesterday (1 week later), the pharmacy never received a response. I called the on call service because my daughter now has an outbreak and is scratching constantly and even had a rash on her scalp. It took 2 pages and an hour later Dr. Schultz called back. Obviously irritated by my call, she repeatedly lectured me on how she should not be calling in a prescription because she had not seen my daughter in 6 months, and because of her age, and stated that I waited until late on a Friday to call. She repeatedly said she'd do me a favor, save me an ER visit, but she was going to document it in their records, that this was a 1 TIME refill only and she would never do this again. I told her she didn't have to do it now if she didn't feel comfortable. But she repeated this lecture at least 3 times BEFORE SHE EVER ASKED WHAT MY DAUGHTER'S SYMPTOMS WERE. I was very upset and after she finished her lecturesss, I informed her the reason I called late on a Friday was because I went to pick up her prescription and they had not responded from a week ago
