I am a current medical student at the University of Pittsburgh. I have suffered from the dreaded 'puffy nipple' complex since puberty, which has affected my confidence and self image in the most awful ways. Going to the gym and seeing my asymmetrical chest, taking off my shirt worrying about funny looks, and even just seeing myself in the mirror every day took its emotional toll over the years.\r

Another plastic surgeon, with not nearly the same experience or skill as Dr. Blau performed a lipo/excision procedure on me, followed by a revision several months later. Results were unacceptable to say the least, especially after the revision. I could not understand why my nipples were still puffy, not to mention oddly shaped after the procedures. After waiting as long as I could and making the financial arrangements necessary, I consulted with Dr. Blau.\r

Right from the start, Dr. Blau and his staff were reassuring and helpful. I realized that he was indeed an expert in my particular condition and has helped hundreds upon hundreds of men just like me. He seemed completely collected in the consultation, it was obvious that the way my chest looked was nothing new to him. He told me EXACTLY what needed to be done for this condition. I went ahead and scheduled the surgery.\r

The whole surgery experience can be summed up as easy, relieving, and most importantly, rewarding. His bedside manner was outstanding and the results speak for themselves. Even at three days post op I felt amazing and could see a world of difference, and that is only after three days of healing! I can't wait to return to the gym and get into the best shape of my life after sufficient healing time! This time it will be with more confidence than I could have ever imagined. Having gynecomastia is like having a weight tied to you that keeps you from reaching your potential, something you ALWAYS think about, even when you are in really good shape! Not anymore, I literally cut the problem out of my life thanks to Dr. Blau.
