best taco joint in south Austin for breakfast tacos. the food is fairly inexpensive, and is served relatively fast. the restaurant is short on ambiance, but makes up for it in quality of service and food. it kind of reminds me of a Mexican cantina inside. I go here maybe twice a week for tacos. I recommended the steak tacos with onions and jalape?os. I also recommended the brisket with rice which is unusual to find in a restaurant. it a little spicy but not to much. I use too not think much of this place when I was younger, now I don't know what I would do if they ever decided to move. which they were considering for a while. they have another location in Buda, but I don?t care as long as san Juanita?s stays on congress.
Pros: good fast hot food
Cons: not some where you would take a date
