I would NEVER recommend anyone going to Bridal Bliss in Homewood, AL. The dress selection was poor-not a wide selection, and the dresses look worn. The main reason I would say to NEVER go there is for the customer service, particularly because of Clarence-the owner. He was rude from the second I stepped into the store. I ordered a dress spending well over $1,000 including my veil. When the dress and veil came in I went for a fitting. Clarence was rude and treated me awful. The dress did not fit, and he said I must have gained over 30 pounds in 3 months. That is not possible! He made me feel insecure. He also said ""You must have the same problem I do-every time I turn around I'm stuffing something in my face."" How rude?????!!!! Who says that to a customer. Not only did he bash me, he started bashing other brides who had gained weight and could not fit into their dress. When you are a customer spending a lot of money in a store you should NEVER be degraded and made to feel like you are overweight. He has NO room to talk if you were to see him. I was very disatisfied with his service. Not only did he call me fat and tell me I had to lose 25 plus pounds to be able to fit into the dress, he lied to me twice. He said I could pay then or pay in May when I was supposedly going to be 25 pounds skinnier (yeah right). I called him and asked if I could pay in May like he said, and he lied. He said he never told me that and was extremely rude to me on the phone. He said I am like most brides-I don't pay attention to anything on the contract. He was mean and ended up basically hanging up on me. I immediatly went to the store to pick up my dress and he did not have the courage to look me in the eye. When I walked in he ran into the back room. The second time of his rudeness was to my mother on the phone. This was simply an overview of how this man and his so called customer service is. I do not think anyone should ever go there! Go to Dianes in Jasper!
