Partners in Crime is a must destination, with great ambience, great selections and great advice. My mate even went there and got a gift recommendation for me that I loved.\r
We always go to Elephant & Castle down the street for dinner after stopping by the bookstore. Hope they don't both become crowded with tourists after this!
Pros: great customer service and recommendations
Cons: not always as cheap as the big box stores, but worth the difference
