Review content:
My first visit to Bella salon was over a month ago. I was scheduled with Jason after explaining to the receptionist that I had short hair and wanted an expert cut. Jason, also known as Deville, is a large tattooed body-builder. At first I thought, oh great, this might not be good. He spent over 10 minutes asking me questions about my style, life and haircut desires; after this, I was at ease. His professionalism and expertise were apparent in the consultation and throughout the haircut. I have short hair with many cowlicks, and a bad haircut can be disastrous. If the haircut's not funky enough, I'll look like an old maid. If it's not precise, I'll look like I just visited Supercuts. When Jason was done, I was pleasantly surprised. He's the best Austin hairdresser I have ever used. Previously I got my haircuts with an expert stylist at Jackson Ruiz and Salon Intuitions. I must say that both places have great stylist (I always received a satisfactory haircut), but they lacked in creativity. Overall, I highly recommend Jason; he has over 20 years experience and has a California flare that most Austin stylist are missing. Don't be afraid, you will be in good hands.
