Businiess name:  Comfort Zone Salon

Review content:
So far, I went to Daniel at Comfort Zone Salon twice & he's consistently gentle in cutting hair with a great eye for color (which I appreciate). I've had lots of over-cut haircuts in the past & I appreciate that he's a minimalist when it comes to cutting off hair. Better to cut off less than too much & start from square one again (as I've done so many times before at so many other different places). He also threads a great pair of eyebrows! He's multi-faceted & multi-talented. His best talent in my opinion is color. He knows what to pick to correct color mishaps whether it's overbleached hair or overdarkened hair (since I also like to experiment with haircolor at home & have made plenty of mistakes) & gives the best natural looking highlights I've ever gotten. \r I love that in this salon you really don't need an appointment, you can walk in at your convenience & are always treated courteously. The salon is comfortable & stylish, and you never sit around waiting forever & feeling like you're forgotten or invisible or being stalled. I have had that experience elsewhere but never at Comfort Zone. \r Here you get a lot of quality attention & what feels like celebrity treatment (not that I am a celebrity). \r If you care about how much you spend in a salon, be sure to ask in advance what each service will cost you so you won't be shocked by the calculated total at the end of your visit if you're getting multiple services (cut, color, toner, etc).\r I recommend this place to anyone who wants quality color services & excellent treatment.\r The whole staff seems to work together well & are all pleasant to you. Again, my favorite aspect is the quality of the color products they use (I don't know what brand but the color seems to be vegetable based & a ""permanent"" color is definitely permanent while still being sheer & flattering to skintone) as well as color skill & technique. Well-skilled colorists.\r Located on 2nd Avenue at 81st St, I recommend giving Comfort Zone a try. Pros: Personable service, personal attention, skilled colorists, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, down to earth Cons: Costs add up, so ask what you'll be paying or come prepared with your credit card
