Review content:
Well at first I was a little skeptical about eating here, mostly because I went with friends who arent very fond of eating sushi, or have never eaten sushi at all. The place was busy but surprisingly the four of us were seated at the sushi bar; it was a Friday night too. The chef was nice enough to point us to a few of the popular rolls after I explained to him that my friends werent sushi connoisseurs. One friend who once threw up the first time I took him to eat sushi seemed to eat and enjoy everything we had that night, whether it was raw or cooked. I think the freshness of the fish probably made a huge difference in why he liked it this time as opposed to his first time. My other friends werent as bold and ordered the ribs or chicken teriyaki, which were both fabulous, especially the ribs (I highly recommend it). It always nice to go to Japanese restaurants and have options for non-sushi eaters and avid sushi eaters like myself. Most Japanese restaurants Ive been to offer either really good sushi but no non-sushi items or okay sushi and okay non-sushi items. This restaurant seemed to offer the best of both worlds, pleasing the palates of both types of people. Ill definitely eat here again the next time Im in Utah. Pros: Good Rolls, Fresh Fish, Excellent Ribs
