The plant selection is good, and they have plenty of each. It seems like they double the price, then sell it at 50% or 70% off, so it's not that much cheaper than other stores. It is difficult to find someone to help you. I've shopped there a few times, and you are definitely on your own. They do not want you to call them, either. Their website does not include store phone numbers, and neither does the web yellow pages. I found one doing a google search, but all you get is a recording. Not a customer service oriented buisiness. Since then, I have discovered this fellow over at Bunker Hill Lowes. He's an older Asian gentleman working in the plants department. He knows EVERYTHING about plants. He's full of useful information and is so eager to help. My husband has benefited from this man's directions, too, on various yard maintainance and replanting. His ""tricks and tips"" really work! He's steared me away from a wrong purchase a couple of times. I suggest you go to Lowes instead of Houston Garden Center. Lowe's has a decent selection of plants too.
