My boyfriend and I love this store. It?s our favorite shoe store in the city, hands down. Tani?s selection has actually turned him into a shoe enthusiast, something I considered an impossible feat. They would have my heart for this alone if they didn?t already own it. I?ve been a loyal customer for four years ? ever since I moved back from the shopping mecca that is London. It?s the only shoe store in New York that equates to London?s amazing high street selection. I drag myself in from Williamsburg regularly to get my fix. They have a great selection of affordable brands that includes Dolce Vita, F Troupe, All Black, Jeffrey Campbell and they throw in lines I?ve never seen anywhere else for extra spice. This season I got a perfect pair of whiskey colored Rachel Comey boots and a pair of Sven clog boots from their sister store on 72nd street, and my boyfriend has been living in a pair of Hudson lace-up boots. I have always found the staff to be really helpful without being pushy. It seem like they get new styles in regularly so they don?t stock anything too heavily. You have to be lucky to get your size, but if you aren?t they always seem to have a creative alternative suggestion and worse case scenario you can be sure you?ll fall in love with something new next month. Pros: Great selection, helpful staff Cons: too far from home
