I laughed when I read the previous rater's review. Hot towels? Come on now! Taka's is blantantly a ""California Style"" sushi joint! They aren't masquerading to be some high class place where waiters with stiff white collars are going to hand you hot towels! Now, I go there for the food. I have been to those other places but yet I still come back to Takas. Not because of the service, which I admit is mediocre at times, but for the quality of food. The chefs are second to none. If you establish a relationship with them, they will treat you like a KING! I know my sushi and my fish and I know Taka's serves the best quality fish they can find. No doubts about that in my mind...
