Review content:
We came here for dinner with a large group. The table was reserved and we were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The wine list was sizeable, but the markups were about 400%. Additionally, I was not impressed with the staff wine recommendation - it was a very drinkable light red, decent on its own but underwhelming with a steak. My baked oyster appetizer was excellent - a bit on the small side, but fine as a prelude to a steak. The creamed spinach was not impressive, and neither were the mushrooms. the shoestring potatoes and onion rings were acceptable. I liked the grautin potatoes, but others did not. The T-bone steak was properly cooked and fairly tender. However, although acceptable, the steak was a grade below those served in top steakhouses both in terms of consistency and flavor. Overall, I felt it was a good meal for Atlantic City, but not deserving of praise.
