Review content:
This place would be a five star if it was updated (new carpet, etc) and they opened the restaurant. It has been closed for a long long time and it is obvious they don't intend to ever open it again as it has been closed for a long long time and there is no work going in it. The room was very spacious and the bathrooms were nice with the largest tub you will get without paying $1K per night. The A/C you've seen mentioned in other posts is noticeable, but not really that bad a problem. They do need to learn how to tuck bottom sheets in though as they always came undone which is a pain to deal with. The decor is dated. With all that said though, I would recommend the place more so than most others I've stayed at including some high priced places on Central Park. Pros: Service and room size Cons: Needs new carpet and updating generally.
