i've been through a lot of different stylists with few good experiences. i prefer someone who can tell me outright what will style well, work well with my face, and what to expect. and thats what sam does! she's awesome.
i've been in twice and i'm completely impressed and satisfied. i went in originally bc i wanted my natural color back. same matched it perfectly. she knew exactly what she was talking about and how the color would turn out in a few washes.
i went back for a little something more exciting but not too bold for my conservative workplace. and again, sam helped me out and gave me the perfect solution with some chunks of color that needed little root maintenance and could be styled to show very easily underneath my layers. i absolutely love it!
the atmosphere is minimalistic but not dirty. very punk-chic. i've had a great experience so far with sam and definitely plan to return.
the prices are fair for a salon and not crazy. they usually offer deals - like a coupon card, the refer-a-friend, and the citysearch review thing too.
