Do NOT go here. It took over 3 hours to get highlights and a cut. They charged me a ridiculous amount for a cut that looked like it was done by a newbie (and they told me that it was done by one of the senior stylists...scary!) I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and they would not give me a refund. And they are not kid friendly. Don't waste your time or money. more

Great experience, great salon. 10/20/2011

I am not sure what everyone else looks for when they visit a salon for the first time but I look for a stylist that can make a recommendation on current styles and can update your look. Bethany was recommended to me and I was totally pleased. She is friendly, smart and gives great advice on your personal style as well as how to get that wonderful salon look at home. I would highly recommend the Pink Mullet and especially Bethany! The atmosphere was very comfortable. I loved the samples at the front desk. Best way to test out those new products! Love the Pink Mullet and have already made another appointment! If you want style go to the Pink Mullet, if you want ART go to a museum! more

Great service, just a boring place. 9/6/2011

The service is great! Everyone there is very well trained, and trendy. They have no problem making a recommendation on current styles that fit your face shape, or holding an intelligent conversation, and they definitely enjoy their job. They are very reasonably priced, too! My only problem with the place is that with a name like ""Pink Mullet,"" I expected some cool decor or art in the place, not the bare walls and hollow room. I think Trade Secret in the mall has better decor (most likely ordered from an out of business auction for an old japanese food joint somewhere). The stylists look good, the place is just drab. But, I guess you don't go to a salon to look at the decor. more

Not that pleased... 6/2/2011

I used to go to Pink Mullet when my current hairstylist worked there and she has now moved to salon P'Nash, I went back to Pink Mullet because I needed to use a groupon I had purchased a while ago when I was tight on cash and got what I paid for. The girl was nice but my hair is not in the best condition and I'm now back with my Stylist to get my hair back to being healthy. more

Pink Mullet....LOVE 'EM 4/21/2011

I went to Ali, and she rescued me from my ""frumpy mom"" look I was stuck in. I so did not look like some one you would think would go to the Pink Mullet, but that is one of the great things about the place. The salon and the stylists look the part of a place that is more used to fashion models and rock stars than 27 yr old moms who are accountants. BUT once I sat down and started talking to Ali I didnt feel so outta place. I used to be very adventurous with my hair but when I had my son I stopped doing anything to it. I actually started only getting my hair cut like every 6 months. Any way Ali worked with me and gave me a cut that is both easy and mommy appropriate but edgy enough to satisfy my adventurous streak. My hair was down past my shoulders, and we cut it all off. Every one has LOVED the new look, and so do I! She has broken me of the frumpy mom curse, and I have already gone back for a trim! no more 6 months between hair cuts! I am even going back next week for color! JennC I cant wait for my next appointment more

I have had PROBLEM hair my whole life. During my school years it was a great pleasure for the other children to make jokes about my frizzy, out of control hair. I spent most of my life hating my hair!! Even hiding it:( more

THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER 2/23/2011

I went to this salon hoping for something a little edgy, and more modern than what I had going on. I wanted more blonde put in and a cut that was more stylish. What I got was blonde highlights that totally washed me out. She took so much time with the highlights that she had none left to give me a decent haircut let alone something with some style or personality. All this for 250.00. I don't mind paying that much for great hair, but that high price for the finished product just sealed the deal...I will never go back! more

I wanted to let everyone know that Domini and Sam who were the best that Pink Mullet had to offer is no longer there. Check out ther new place P'Nash. The Managers at Pink Mullet were always so rude to customers coming in. P'Nash is GREAT!!!! Go see Domini and Sam at their new place . LOVE IT!!!!! more

Perfect Salon - will be back! 10/27/2010

Sarah listened carefully to the different ways I wanted to be able to style my hair, and gave me exactly the haircut I requested. She suggested a few ideas to slightly improve my requests, which I took. The thoughtful, careful way that she shampooed, then cut and styled my hair was perfection. Well worth it! You will not regret going to this salon. more

I was looking for a new salon and decided to try Pink Mullet. I am so glad that I took a chance. Sam is great. She is young and knows what is in style. She will also tell you what will and won't work. She is the first person to cut my bangs the way I wanted. She is also very good with color. I was so pleased that I booked my next two appointments. more

Best Salon in Nashville Area!!! 9/22/2010

FINALLY, I found a stylist that knows how to cut , color and style hair in Nashville!!! I have traveled all over and lived in many cities and have had some pretty awlful cuts and color. But now I go to Pink Mullet and see Sam! She is truley incredible! This very talented lady is from Los Angelos, CA and knows how to look at each client's hair and understand what that client wants to achieve. I really like that while i am in her stylist chair, she is only working on MY hair. Not trying to do 5 others clients hair and mine at the same time, unlike some other local salons. Quality verses quanity. Giving each client time and attention. Not only that, but her rates are very competitive and I have happy every time I have walked out the door. I feel truly amazing after Sam does my hair! I would recommend The Pink Mullet to anyone looking for a stylist that they can go to for many years to come! more

the first stylist i will go to again and again... 9/20/2010

i've been through a lot of different stylists with few good experiences. i prefer someone who can tell me outright what will style well, work well with my face, and what to expect. and thats what sam does! she's awesome. i've been in twice and i'm completely impressed and satisfied. i went in originally bc i wanted my natural color back. same matched it perfectly. she knew exactly what she was talking about and how the color would turn out in a few washes. i went back for a little something more exciting but not too bold for my conservative workplace. and again, sam helped me out and gave me the perfect solution with some chunks of color that needed little root maintenance and could be styled to show very easily underneath my layers. i absolutely love it! the atmosphere is minimalistic but not dirty. very punk-chic. i've had a great experience so far with sam and definitely plan to return. the prices are fair for a salon and not crazy. they usually offer deals - like a coupon card, the refer-a-friend, and the citysearch review thing too. more

I recently saw Ryan for a coloring job and I am not impressed, in fact after $200 spent, I have pumpkin orange, damaged hair and not to mention now a strong desire not to walk into a salon again. more

You may be wondering as I did how ALL of their reveiws were a 5? Not one person was slightly dissatisfied? Let me just say that there is a bonus for doing a review for them. However, in order to use that reward, you have to come back to the salon. more

I am so happy to have found this place!!! 9/5/2010

So I was getting really bored with my hair, wasn't happy with my stylist, and a friend referred me to pink mullet. I called and got an appointment with the next available stylist, which happened to be Domini, and LOVED her!!! As soon as I met her I could tell she knew her stuff about hair, so I trusted her with helping me decide the color of highlights I wanted. She convinced me to go with a really bright red color, which I wasn't to sure I would like it, and it turned out so amazing!!!!!! I have gotten too many complements to count and it's only my second day with this color, she also gave me a super cute cut without me even really telling her what I wanted. She's great with knowing what will look great for you, she is my new hair stylist! I highly recomend Domini, but all of the stylists there are very experienced. more

Love This Place! 8/17/2010

This was the best hair cut I have ever received in my life. Domini did an excellent job! I have curly hair and Domini really knew what she was doing and how to work with my hair. The color was also AMAZING! This was the first time I went to a salon and asked the hairdresser to style my hair curly instead of straight...I never knew my hair could look like that!!!!! Domini spent a lot of time explaining and showing me how to do it myself. She also explained to me things about curly hair that I never knew! more
