Went there today with my cousin. We both hail from southern california. I don't know what part of East LA they learning their mexican style of cooking, but it is not close. It's ok, and is definitely not TEX MEX, but if you are reading the rest of these reviews and thinking you are about to get the real deal... Uh No. I had the Chicken Enchaldas, my cousin had the chicken norteno. The Beans were good (black), and the rice was good (nice flavor), but the sauce for the enchaladas... bland. little more flavor needed. I would go back, but It's not the best in the NYC. I have been to some here in the NYC better... The chips and salsa, NOT GOOD. They did not have corn chips, but the flour chips from the bag. Salsa could be better. Pros: Beans, Rice, Good date spot, they serve drinks Cons: Enchalada sauce, chips, salsa
