Businiess name:  Moy's Restaurant

Review content:
We live near by and figured that we should give this unassuming chinese food restaurant a try. We walked in a where pleasantly suprised by the appropraitely chinese themed decor such as chinese laterns and some chinese art. Overall the interior and decor wasn't trendy and flashy like a P.F Changs but with the modest budget you could tell the owners took pride in what they had done. The woman who sat us was very nice and seemed to honestly be interested in insuring that we where satisfied with our dining experience. We conlcuded that she and most of the other employees where most likely part of the family that owns and operates Moy's. This was nice becuase the service was excellent and the chefs (an older oriental couple) would come out every now and then and visit a table to make sure the food was to their liking. Moy's menu is very deep and they have just about every Chinese dish that you can think of. Most of thier menu items are a-la-carte and cost about $8 to $10 for a very generous portion. They also have diner specials which is what we each got . The dinner specials have soup, fried rice, chow mein and a main dish item. These diner specials cost about $7 a piece and contained plenty of food. My dinner special came with the sweet and sour pork which was very good. The sauce seemed tangier and had a more natural flavor then the more syrupy stuff they have on sweet and sour pork at a chain like Panda Express. My wife got 3 fried shrimp with her dinner special. The shrimp looked big when they arrived but after biting into them we discovered that the size was mostly puffed up fried batter. Overall though my wife said that they tasted good, the shrimp just could have been bigger. All in all the service was excellent, food was hot and tasted good, the protions where large and the price was reasonable. While there are some areas for some improvement I would deffinaitely return or think of bringing casual group of friends/family here. Pros: Friendly service, quiet, very reasonably priced, great selection Cons: Some items lackluster flavor
