Review content:
My wife and I have been dining at Citizen Kane's for many years. I can only comment on two of the choices as we are spoiled by them. The first time dining there we were with a business associate who was taking us for diner and he insisted that we get the pork chop. Generally neither of us would have ordered that, but being guests we did get the pork chop. First of all it is a very thick bone in chop.....and I mean large. Secondly, it came with a sauce (kind of a sweet horseradish apple something) to dip that was to die for! The only other thing we have had was a steak on one occasion (they ran out of pork chops). The steak was wonderful. My son in law said it was the best steak he had every eaten. Many people do not like the mash potatoes and I must admit I always get the bake potatoe and avoid that problem. The house dressing (mayfair) is also outstanding. I am not a wine snob but enjoy a good glass of wine with dinner. One of my friends told me to get the house burgundy.....a house wine????? Well he was right. Nice glass of wine at a good price.......I had two.
Pros: Everything
Cons: mash potatoes
