Review content:
The Brevard Zoo has come a long way. What started as a small zoo has now progressed to a very nice place to go. Children of course love it, and it's a very pleasant way to spend the day. There are walkways all throughout and it winds through into all the themed areas. The aviary is my favorite place where you are inside with the birds in their environment. Many are tame and will come and sit on your arm or shoulder, one likes popsicles so beware! I shared mine.
The otters are a favorite and so cute to watch them swim. It's fun to watch them at feeding time.
There is a train the kids can take to tour the back areas of the park and you can also take a Kayak trip with a guide through the wetlands.
Season passes are available and very reasonable. Nice gift shop and the coolest place on the premises.
A nice petting zoo and play ground area for the kids. This is a favorite for school trips.
