My daughter and I frequent this store quite often. I always check them first for clothes, toys, and baby gear. I also find the OTHER store in the nearby town to be pretty cramped. I have bought large items there before and have never even been asked for help out when I had my baby in a stroller. At Kid to Kid, I find it easy to look through clothes and toys. I love their selection and I love to check back every week or two to see what new toys they've gotten in. Plus, the staff is very friendly and always remembers us when we stop in, which is very nice.

Barnes & Noble is great - I love book stores, I admit it... I can spend an entire afternoon going up and down every aisle, checking out books on almost any subject. When I find something interesting, I'll plop myself down into a comfy chair (they have lots of them) and read for a bit before I buy. They have a Starbucks inside, so on a cold day I can get my mocha fix too! Their prices aren't the best (really, you can't get a deal on a book anywhere but ebay these days, can you?), but I still like to hang out there and always end up buying more than I went there for. My husband loves their huge magazine collection, and my kids love the large kids section too.

This is one business that definitely aims to please. In addition to their beautiful floral arrangements and ability to get things delievered fast, fast, fast, they also have a nice variety of general gifts for the home (vases, picture frames, etc.) and are a Beanie Baby dealership. They have other stuffed animals as well. (Their one weak point is that their selection of greeting cards is very limited.) You can also apply for an account with them, so ordering by phone and without a credit card is easy. For years, I've been ordering balloon bouquets from them for co-workers. If a birthday sneaks up on me, I can call them as soon as they open -- 8:00 or 8:30 -- and the gift arrives by 10:00. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and the whole staff is on a first-name basis with the regular customers. It's a pleasure to work with them. Their prices are on a par with most local florists and they have the usual FTD books if you need them to help with an out of town order, but the service is worth every penny. They're happy to make suggestions if you need advice (What kind of plant can I order for Aunt Annie's birthday that she can later put in her yard in Idaho?) and will steer you to the best values rather than to the stuff on which they're making the biggest profit.

The Cordelia Junction is a very cool place to spend the day and you'll find lots of treasures there. But, the bathrooms are creepy both the womens and the mens. If you don't believe it, check it out yourself. I, for one, will never use the bathroom there again. I almost had a "heart attack" last time I went in there. Enter at your own risk!
Pros: Cool merchandise

Napadashery is a women's clothing store that has a great variety of classy dresses, suits, hats, purses, jewelry, and shoes. Designer brand name outfits that you would find at high end mall stores are priced less at Napadashery. The owner, Marge and her staff are great at helping their customers find the right outfit for the right occasion, whether you are going to a wedding, special occasion (formal or informal), prom, work or everyday wear. I have purchased suits and outfits for my mom, shoes and formal wear for my 21 year old daughter and work and special occasion dresses for myself. They have inexpensive pashima shawls that make great gifts!

If you need shoes fixed and you're doing shopping in the mall... most of the time they will have them fixed by the time you are done shopping (1hr or so) but if they are busy sometimes it can take them a couple days... I had them fix a belt for me.. and the guy "fixed" it but he did it wrong... and he did re-fix it the correct way... but I think they charged a little too much for what it was... so if you need shoes fixed... and you don't know of another place... they're ok... but there is a "redwing" shoe store behind the mall in fairfield that has shoe repair... and my experience with them is much better than the shoe stop...

Torried carries name brand plus size clothing. Many trendy pieces, unique goth and glam clothing. Accessories, bath & body, and even lingerie. They have a great clearance rack and nice jeans.
Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a worker ... I was able to browse the shop in peace. Items are a bit pricey, but customer service is excellent. The shop is very clean, and has a laid back lounge type of feeling.
PROS: Selection and Sizes
CONS: Pricey
