I own mid-range as well as higher-end dress shoes plus sturdy walking shoes and sneakers--and trust only Swanson's for repairs that last.
I've had cordovan penny loafers as well as calfskin dress shoes repaired there, as well as heel inserts and entire soles replaced.
Swanson's has even replaced all the leather on my English trench coat's buckles damaged by a forgetful dry-cleaner! Also, my 1980s Billingham messenger bag's leather piping was replaced by Swanson's--workmanship so good that I could barely tell they weren't the original.
Danny Swanson helped me with all my repairs, and now, my wife is also using Swanson's services for her winter boots--and happy with the repairs.
Very reasonable charges (I teach for a living so don't have money to throw away) and always the most courteous and professional services.
Highly recommended.
