Review content:
Stayed at Chambers in January and thought it was wonderful. The hotel has a very hip vibe, and is literally 100 meters from the luxurious 5th Avenue. We stayed in a ""Studio"" room which was pricey, but very large. The rooms have beautiful wood floors, and a shower that has to be experienced to believe (think bathing in a waterfall).
Downstairs their crowded bar seems to be the only cool place to drink within 2 miles. We tried the restaurant but were VERY upset to wait 30 minutes for a simple cup of coffee, or even the attention of the single waiter. Otherwise, the service was friendly and sufficient. Lennin - the concierge/bellman/manager was especially helpful and let us in on ""secret underground"" places to eat and party in New York - he appears to be at the front desk 24 hrs/day, ask him for recommendations if you stay here.
Pros: Amazing Shower, Lennin, Cool bar
Cons: Restaurant
