I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life. Before As soon as I walked in the door of this dinky little place, I got the impression that I was bothering the owner just by being there. No greeting, no smile, just an old woman who looked at me with a dull expression and waited for me to speak first. When I explained to her the simple alteration I needed on a basic strapless informal dress and asked her if it would be possible for her to do it within 48 hours, she said it would. I made sure she knew what day I needed it by, and explained that I would be leaving town immediately after picking up the dress to go to the wedding for which I purchased it. She hesitated and seemed annoyed, as if she wasn't happy about having to do it right away, but apparently decided she'd rather have to work quickly than lose the profit.. because she again assured me that it would be ready in time. The morning of the day I told her I needed it by, I called to find out if it was ready. She sounded like she didn't even remember what I was talking about, and then said, ""Oh, no.. It's not ready yet..."" I said that's fine, that my husband could come by later in the day, and that I just needed it to be ready before she closed. She said it would be, and I told her my husband would be there at about 5:30 to pick it up (bc she said she closed at 6). When he got there a little before 5:30, she had already CLOSED EARLY and left. She never called to let me know why, and I was without a dress to wear to my friend's wedding. When I showed up to confront her the next week, she pretended not to recognize me when I walked in, then acted (very unconvincingly) surprised when I reminded her about our previous agreement. When I asked her why she closed early, she stood and ""tried to remember"" what day I was talking about, and then said, ""Ohhh, Thursday I left early.. because my daughter had an emergency... A car emergency,"" and then she said she ""forgot"" to call me after that. Worst liar ever. The best part is, she had the nerve to still ask me to pay!! I took the dress and walked out. Pros: none! Cons: Rude ""service,"" dishonest, completely unreliable
