The Strand Capital building is beautifully restored and it was worth the wait. The grandeur of the interior is spectacular with reds abounding! The shows are always exciting and the talent endless. The volunteers and staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate and parking is available off street, and in several nearby parking lots and parking garages.

Green Valley is just plain fantastic. There is something for everyone. We just love to spend the day. The owners expand the property every few years so that everyone spreads out and it doesn't seem as crowded as another pool we used to go to. Everything is very well maintained. There's a ton of sports and activities for the kids and parents to do, including the new water park that was added last year. We love the moonlight swims. We pack dinner and use their free grills to have a cookout! The snack bar even makes funnel cakes on moonlight swim nights! Very family friendly. The guards are very strict with everyone; it's a very tightly run ship! I highly recommend it to everyone.

You can get cones or snack food, enjoy the ice cream, and the mini golf available. They also have some animals that can be viewed. I believe they still have the machines to get corn and feed the animals through a pipe (safety purposes). You can eat inside or pick a picnic bench and have a pleasant family outing.

This great little miniature golf spot is located on Queen Street. The golf course is set like a castle fairytale and is an easy course to play. It's a great family outing and the price is right, look for coupons in the local Entertainment/Bonus Books. Staff is sufficient and helpful. Parking is ample.

My son and I took up the guitar this summer and wanted to take lessons. We weren’t sure where look. We tried one of the big Chain stores in the area, but found them less than helpful. We heard about Campbell’s and gave them a try. They were very interested in helping us get started and hooked us up with instructors right away. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. They always greet you when you come into the store. Where do you find that these days? The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help out the novice and pro alike. They have some different brand name guitars represented in the store. Check them out.

I really enjoy this facility. The people and counter service are very helpful and courteous. They really cater to the newbie. The facility is clean, well-kept and well-maintained. If something goes wrong with the machinery, they are quick to make things right. The food is good, although you sometimes have to wait a little until one of the staff members sees that you need help. This is a great place to take the whole family and relax and have a good time.

We love Wisehaven pool, it's expensive for sure as a guest it's $8 per person but they have a big pool, small baby pool, playground, adult only pool, snack bar and fry hut. there is a waterslide to go down and a high and low dive. Plenty of people there now too as Spring Valley closed down but a great day in all for the family. For a family of 4, it cost us about $60 to go and to have lunch with snacks. Nice pool, we'll go again!

This locally owned and operated gymnastic business is a great place for kids to learn gymnastics. The facility is large, clean and the staff supportive and knowledgeable. Parking is ample. You can plan a birthday party and they do most of the work, including keeping a tally of the gifts and who they are from.

Menchey Music is a hub of activity. On any given night you will see people browsing sheet music. Kids and adults showing up for instrumental lessons. People trying out electric guitars, and other instruments. I discovered Menchey's when my daughter was in a talent show and we needed sheet music for a special well known song from a movie. I asked some friends where to get it and they suggested Menchey's Music. I did wish a few times since then that there would be one in East York as well as West York, but no such luck.
