You know, I want to like Tyler's more than I do. The beer selection is fantastic, the food is good, but I can't get past the service. I'm a regular there and I'm reconsidering whether or not I'd like to continue to be. My group of friends has met there weekely for years, yet we're treated pretty poorly for folks who leave with a tab that collectively runs *well* over $100 each visit. Tyler himself is great. There are members of the staff that ""get it"", but most of them have a lot to learn about pub hospitality. I wish Tyler the best, because he has a quality operation on many levels, but after 100 visits, I still get the feeling that some other bar deserves my patronage more. After a great experience at Federal in Durham, I'm thinking that would be the place if it were a little closer. Pros: Beer Selection, The food is good., Tyler (the owner) Cons: , Often flat out rude.
