If you are searching for a great happy hour special (i.e. lots of beer for a great rate) than Recessions is your answer. However, you may have to ignore the fact that the bar is in the basement of what seems to be a hotel and has the ambiance of a cave or wilderness lodge. I have to say upon entering Recessions I wasn't too impressed with the feel or look of the bar but soon understood why it was so popular amongst area professionals. The extremely reasonable happy hour of $4 - 24 oz beers is hard to beat. If you are just looking for a cheap drink head to Recessions, but don't expect much for their decor. There are so many other great bars in the area don't waste too much time here. Once happy hour ends you might be already at the door waiting to head to a higher class place.
Pros: Cheap Beer
Cons: Lack of Ambiance
