My camera needed cleaning and I took it to this shop. Unfortunately I did not research it first (Boo on me!). After paying the $40 diagnostic fee, I was later informed that my camera would be cleaned and that my lens needed ""recalibration"". I picked up the camera after a $200 bill and got a new lens cap, as they had lost mine. I left and took 6 photos when it totally shut down. I called and was told it was a battery issue. I took out the current battery, and to mu surprise, they had replaced my Canon battery with a generic battery. I put in an extra Canon battery and charged the generic...nothing helped. I called again, as I was leaving for vacation. I left several messages and e-mails with no response. I went back to get the camera repaired and told them my vacations as ruined and now my camera was broken, as well as missing the ORIGINAL parts. I was offered a repair and NO refund of the original repair. I was told they ""don't do that kind of thing"" because they are ""good at what they do"". There is a reason this place is poorly reviewed. They offer poor service, poor customer service, and I question the integrity of a repair shop that removes the name brand accessories and replaces them with generic. Just to be clear, my camera was working when it went in, and now it is broken. This company made NO attempt to make me happy, other than to stand by their ""repair"". Do not visit this business. My next step is to report it to the Better Business Bureau.
