My daughter went to Whizz Kids for 3 years and I was very impressed. Janet is a very well-organized, efficient, responsible, thoughtful, caring Director. She has a good eye for staff, seems to be a positive leader, and genuinely cares for the children and families at Whizz Kids. My daughter was very happy at Whizz Kids and still asks to go back every single time we drive by (several times a week; she is now 6 and has not been there since she was 4!). There was some staff turnover, but my experience has been that that is to be expected at most centers. Regardless, the staff was loving, caring, attentive. Lots of great art projects and learning activities. Reading time every day. Fun time outdoors several times a day. Walkabouts. Occassional field trips (well-staffed and volunteered - kids loved it!). Neat ""graduation"" for kids moving onto kindergarten. GREAT food/meals - ""Grandma Kay"" was amazing, but not sure she is still there. I know that Whizz Kids staff and families worked hard to improve the playground area and it looks great. I wonder if they have added more grass and a (vegetable?) garden - things that were being discussed. Very reasonable/competitive rates. I highly recommend.
