I have used Annie's Nannies several times to find child care for an evening out, or for the day when my child needs to stay home from school. They are always very professional, prompt, and send great nannies! We like the nannies so much, we have requested the same ones again. I definitely think it is worth using Annie's, even if you just need an evening out and want reliable, competent child care.

I love Annie's Nannies. They have been nothing but helpful in helping us find our last 3 nannies/personal assistants. We have also used their temporary services - that is actually how we found one of our nannies. I have always felt that they took the time to understand our family needs and sent us very qualified candidates. They check in with us and have always been willing to work with us. I highly recommend them in finding safe and reliable childcare and personal assistants. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Both of our boys went to Young Child Academy. The school is a great foundation for entering kindergarten--public or private. Both our boys have excelled in school and I believe that having attended YCA is certainly a factor. The kids learn Spanish, dance, science, art and music along with the usual numbers, letters and phonics. I really like the structure and routine it gives the children. There are no surprises when they move along to kindergarten. The families that have their children and YCA are terrific. Our boys --and us--have made long time friends. I can not say enough good things about the staff and teachers. You could not go wrong with starting your child out at Young Child Academy.

I had a son start at CCC when he was 1.5 and he went through until K and a daughter that started at three weeks old. It's a wonderful place... They learned soooo much and were given unconditional love. It's priceless. I highly recommend them for daycare.

My daughter went there for 2 years (2 mornings a week) from age 23 months - until age 2.5. Nan is really the gold standard for child care. I was a bit nervous sending my daughter at 23 months, but I quickly realized how ready she was for some additional social interaction.

The Seattle Pacific University Website www.spu.edu has a classfied section. Click on childcare and you will find GREAT postings of babysitter/nannys that are available right now. You can also create a 'wanted' post with your EXACT (dates, times, children's ages, etc.) needs and you will get responses from college age sitters. I posted an ad and got many responses from great sitters as well as other parents about nanny-share opporunities. I would recommend settting up a new free (yahoo or hotmail) email account when posting an ad like this.

I'm not sure why the last gal only gave this site a 2 star rating when she hasn't even used them yet, but I can tell you that this is one of the most valuable babysitting finding sites out there. In Kirkland they have over 200 sitters. It's $40 to join - but just a small monthy fee after that and I can tell you it's worth it, especially if your new to the area or don't want to pay costly agency fees. It's a bit like "Match.com" for babysitters and parents - sitters are rated by parents that have hired them, and it's up to the parents and the sitters to determine hourly rates, etc. You should definately check them out.

Explained step by step how to use both QuickBooks for my small business and Quicken for my personal finances. Showed me how to download credit card and bank transactions and match them. Well worth the $120 an hour I was planning to pay and gave me his special $295 for three hour rate when we went over.

Unlike the previous reviewer, my kids DO attend this school and I believe it to be the best school ever. We have a very bright child who was bored at the local catholic school and a child with significant learning delays. Both children are THRIVING. The education is exceptionally child-centered--math, english, and science learnings have been remarkable. We have found this school to be nothing less than flexible, loving and supportive. Can't recommend highly enough!
