Review content:
I had my car towed to Pristine in order to have it fixed by a Ford dealership (Jerry's). They told me it would be ready in nine days, then changed it six times. It ended up being more than a month. They cheated on the paint job and left a horrifying set of cracks that will fail and rust way ahead of my four-year old vehicles factory paint job elsewhere. They said they would do smoke remediation, but merely had some ignorant goon wipe everything down with armour all over the smoke carbon, permanently sealing it to my interior. He hit the wing mirror glass and instrument panel with armour all, which ruins it. He also missed spots all over the place which you can see by all the contrasting flat spots - evidence that it was a super quick wipe down. And I love that they don't even wipe the interior down with a damp rag before sealing it - after a fire! There was still lots of broken glass in my interior when I got the vehicle back - proof they were in a super hurry to race through the work, though they denied me the use of my vehicle for over a month. The shop manager pretended to listen to all my concerns, but disregarded every one of them and gave me the routine poor job. Example: I begged him to remove my parking sticker before they disposed of my old windshield. Of course they threw the sticker away so I can't return my van to the parking lot and its security cameras, but must instead park it out on the street in Annandale where criminals patrol nightly, wreaking new havoc that can be seen every morning. Jim, the manager simply told me to send him the bill for the replacement sticker from my community association, totally unconcerned that it will take me weeks to get a new one and meanwhile my recently vandalized vehicle will be parked in an ultra-high risk area. The last thing they did was ""repair"" a broken lock, which occasioned an extra three day delay, though they'd already taken a whole month. Then they proudly turned the vehicle over to me with the side cargo doors unable to be locked manually from inside or outside with the key. As if checking the locks function wasn't the last part of fixing the lock - a three day job!!! And the cherry on top: though I slaved to install and maintain a working stereo in my vehicle, when I got it back it simply did not work. Hint: The illegal aliens at Pristine, who are nowhere to be seen when they take your vehicle amid confident assurances, replaced my radio antenna and the passenger door - so they surely had to attempt to wire one speaker to the head. Result: No sound coming from the unit, and when I try to search for a radio station it scrolls forever. So their antenna job allows for no reception - not one station and even when I put a CD in the CD player I get no sound. These people are savages. Do not give them your business. P.S. The first few glowing reviews sound like propaganda coming directly from Pristine. I've seen that alot on sites like this. Read the wording: It's too generic and impersonal. Sounds like they are trying to whitewash over their major defects. They're employees are ""awesome"" and they are an ""honest"" shop. Please! Also, they sub everything out so that there is hardly anything done right there. Everyone's in a hurry to get their money as fast as possible, but what I can't understand is taking a month. They hold your vehicle forever and let it sit, then race through the work. I suspect they also pass over one-time customers tickets to care for commercial contract vehicles. How else do you explain taking over a month to do work they claimed they could easily do in a couple days on one of the most common vehicles on the road with no special parts needed? Pros: Pristine is staffed by incompetent peons, all foreigners Cons: Pristine lies and does terrible work
