I recently purchased a prepaid membership and immediately regretted it. They had very few movies I wanted to rent. (Granted, it was the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, but still.) The place seems so dingy and low-rent to be in this neighborhood. On a very busy night, there was one disappointed customer ahead of me, many others waiting in line, while the phone was ringing off the hook. The single employee at the counter seemed much more interested in selling me a prepaid membership than in taking care of existing customers. It's obvious that they just want your money up front and then forget about you. Meanwhile, there was an employee at the candy counter in the front, doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except minding the candy. It's a ludicrous way to run a business. I haven't yet checked out the site, but I guess I'll have to, if I want to use this stupid membership that isn't even a good deal -- almost 4 bucks a movie.
P.S. The person who wrote a good review is obviously an employee of the store -- don't be fooled!
