Alot of people don't know that there is government assistance available for summer care or year round. It's Open Enrollment with no waiting list. You can visit the CCMS office Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. at the Center for Regional Services, 3991 East 29th Street Bryan, TX--near the 29th Street/Carter Creek intersection. Who can't use a little help with child care expenses. Eligibility is determined on the spot and you can use their daycares or yours, next day service is available. Call for income guidelines & what to bring--(979) 595-2801 ext. 2100. Alot of people think they wouldn't qualify, but the income guidelines have changed. I will post them later, but I know for a family of 3, if you don't make over $3700 a month, you qualify. I pay $275 a month for both of my children to attend a local learning center. This is actually cheaper than what I was paying my private child care taker, but I always thought I wouldn't qualify, so I never applied.
