Businiess name:  Hill Country Barbecue Market
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Hi guys, Texas girl in New York writing my first review because it was THAT good! Hill Country offers the best of Texas (BBQ + southern hospitality) in the middle of NYC. What more can a girl ask for?! The BBQ is the best I've had in my 7 years in the city - and the staff have that "southern hospitality / c'mon in, have some food, enjoy yourself..." thing down. I read the review from the guy who said otherwise and he HAS to be talking about someplace else since the food is prepared and served in front of you - all market style - just like the best BBQ joints in Texas. Exec summary: If you're into good times, great BBQ and killer mac-n-cheese... Get thee to Hill Country! Just be sure to show up hungry... my one complaint is that I've been there 3 times and I still haven't had a chance (I get too full too soon) to try everything. Pros: food, decor, music, live music downstairs, Big Red Cons: I may get fat
