I'm simply AMAZED that this place has had rave reviews as it is the WORST bars in the city (an opinion, I have since discovered, shared by an awful lot of people apparently). I came here recently to celebrate a friends birthday. Our group had run up a $200 bar bill. During a respite in the drinking, we were suddenly INCREDULOUSLY told by the unattractive, abrupt Irish waitress that unless we ordered another drink ASAP, we had to leave??!?!? We then complained to the owner, who said that it was his sisters rule and if we didn't like it, "we should get out". And the Irish are supposed to be an jolly bunch! We were HAPPY to go. The drinks were overpriced (12 bucks a shot?) , the music utterly DIRE and "trendy" crowd??? They were the worst kind of bridge/tunnel/frat boy types you ever saw. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
