Westrums is nothing special, and they don't care to be. I doubt you'll find a more authentic neighborhood bar anywhere in Minneapolis. It's often tough to distinguish the employees from the patrons, as I think a number of neighborhood residents work for booze. Plenty of TV's, cheap beer, and the best $4 steak dinner anywhere! That's right, $4. (buy you have to buy two of 'em) The only complaint I have is that it is VERY VERY smokey. Otherwise, great!
