I've been going to Ciao Bella Salon now for over a year, and I must say I highly recommend them to anyone. Especially those worried about waxing for their first time. I just got fed up with shaving my underarms and I had no idea what waxing would be like, but as a first timer they were great. They're quick, friendly, professional, and resonable. Underarms costs $20 and upperlip costs $10. They always check with you to make sure the wax isn't too hot, and it's never been for me. (I'd say the tweezing after the waxing was the most painful, but it wasn't bad at all)
I've also had an updo at their salon and I was pretty pleased, the hairdresser was unbelievably friendly and funny. Although I do think I'll just stay go to them for waxing only.
I agree with the person below me that the first reviewer is mixing this salon up with another salon because I've never paid in cash, and I've never waited more than 10mins.
Pros: ample street parking, last-minute appointments, evening appointments
Cons: not always completely thorough
