First of all, this place has Good Year signs all over it, but they are not Good Year. Giving them even one star is still way too much. I went to this place back in January 09. A few days ago I was driving and my tire was flat. I had it check for nails and the guy told me there was no nails on it and that a small part of the edge was bent and that it is starting to tear. I have not touched my tires since I've had them installed back in January, so their people are the ones that installed it to what I hoped is the correct way to install it. But after going, I'm beginning to think that they did it on purpose to make my tires wear out even more. The guy I went to told me that my other front tire is a little deflated and that it was probably what cause my tire to pop out. I had the guy at Scher install them, so I trusted that they installed it correctly, and when I got my car back, the tires have ALWAYS looked like that. After I got the guy to patch up my car, I took it into Scher to get them to replace it. Well the guy told me that in order for my tire to tear I must have run over a pothole or something on impact. The day it was leaking air I did not run over anything I would have felt it if I did. And I told him that and he told me you have to had run over something in order for that to happen. And I told him I didn't and he told me that I must not have felt it. If I must not have felt it than it wasn't something big to begin with. If it isn't something big to begin with than the tire should be able to take such an impact, and if it can take such an impact, than if the tire pops out should that be covered under manufacturers warranty? Well the guy never even asked to inspect the tire or even try to give me compromising solution. He also told me that I didn't purchase their warranty which would have covered it but he never mentioned that with my father. He allowed my father to think that the tire is covered under warranty and if anything happens he can take it back to them. The solution he did give me was that he can fix it for me but it will cost me. And they wanted me to purchase another tire from them. After what happened with this situation I'd rather spend 200 bucks somewhere else than let them change my tires again. If you don't want to get ripped off do not go to them, because they are very dishonest. There was nothing on the receipt that says that additional insurance needs to be purchased or anything about assessing the situation before determining if it is covered or not. Also if you want to read others experience at this place, google it on googlemaps, because they are all bad reviews. Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTHING
