Review content:
We went to see in concert "The Swell Season" at the Rialto on 10/2/2008. We sat in the balcony reserved section and when the headline act opened, the lighting technician turned on spotlights behind the stage that blinded my whole section. Several of us in our section which held about 100 people complained to ushers and other employees. After 4 songs, we couldn't take it any longer as the light was blinding us to the point we couldn't see the stage and we were getting headaches. We left the balcony and asked to see the manager. After another 2 songs she came out and asked us what was wrong. When we explained what was wrong, she said she was the manager for 3 years and never had a lighting problem. After much more discussion, we asked for our $41/ticket back and she refused. After that we left and were extremely disappointed with the evening. Do not bother going to this dive again. It is run by people with no idea how to run a concert venue--basically amateurs. Pros: None Cons: Poor Management, Parking is Far Away, Ventilation is Poor, Lighting Terrible
