The staff at the Inn at Langely are top notch and really want to make your stay memorable.
My Fiancée and I were engaged there. His idea was to write "will you marry me" on the bed with chocolates for me to find when we arrived back to the Inn from dinner. --And that is exactly what happened!! The front desk staff did it for him when we were out.
This day was also my birthday; and everyone knew it. They all wished me a happy birthday. It was a very special day.
As for the rooms, the Inn at Langely is in a quite spot on the East side of Whidbey Island. All of the rooms are overlooking the water, right at the edge of the beach. The room comes with a spacious shower and tub. It was very nice to soak in the tub in the morning and watch the boats go by with my cup of coffee.
We did not get to eat at the Inn as they were not serving dinner the nights we were there. I did enjoy wandering through their herb garden near the dining room.
It is a tranquil place in a quaint town. We were there during the week, so it was even more quite than the norm.
