Businiess name:  Best Buy

Review content:
I'm quite offended by the abhorrent service I've received from Best Buy today. I spent a lot of money yesterday (2/5) on an 5.1 component based insignia home theater system. The box was opened. When I got the product home, a remote was in the box which was nothing like the picture of the remote on the box. The remote didn't work in the least. I returned the remote today, they couldn't find a replacement and in turn gave me a universal remote. However, the universal remote RCA RCRN04GR doesn't support any home theater, audio or surround sounds let alone the Insignia NS htib51a/ ns r5101ahd that I purchased. It takes a long time to drive to best buy and further more I don't appreciate the lack of service or lack of knowledge exuded by the "Wal-Mart greeters". In fact, I've received much better service at Wal-Mart than I have at Best Buy for some time. It's unfortunate that Best Buy is still in business. I think their fraudulent, time wasting, neglectful, Enron wanna be company should go bankrupt. I, for one, choose not to purchase a single item more from the detestable store, by the rude employees, nor the insignificant management staff that passes me off to a teenager chewing on a plastic tie from a box. I'm disgusted that my boyfriend had to go back again today for the third time to attempt to resolve an issue with a product I paid good money for. After talking with management of the despicable Colorado blvd store 211. They said they didn't have a "comparable" remote that would work on my insignia, the item I purchased yesterday. Instead the only resolution was for me to spend even MORE money to buy a stupid remote that would operate the surround sound. They offered to only apply $12.99 to a much more expensive remote. My boyfriend said, "So, you're willing to loose a customer? After three trips you're not going make this right?" The Manager of the store behind the customer service desk said, "If you're willing to loose the best electronics store in the city, you bet." At this point, I threw the RCA RCRN04GR universal remote away. I have no desire to yet again be made a fool of in Best Buy. I will eat the cost (which is surely Best Buy's responsibility plus 2 days of wasted time) and purchase a remote control that will work with the surround sound from another store, any other store than Best Buy. Best Buy will no longer have me as a customer and frankly, they can take these customer pins xxxx002xxxx0205xx, xxxx04xxxx80xxxxx, and my reward zone card number 22xxxxxxx, stick them where the sun doesn't shine.
