While this new feature is interesting, the interaction with the 'game warden' (via a screen in the jeep) is a Disney creation and a very poor one at that.
It is bumpy so be prepared. Half the creatures were in pens and the others were asleep or hiding (as they do in the wild) so as not to be bothered with humans - and it was early in the day too.
The afternoon will bring less promise of seeing any animals. Also, when a baby giraffe approached our vehicle, the driver moved away - and a nice photo opportunity was lost.
If you stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge you may see more animals than by going to Animal Kingdom.
Pros: something different, kids meal cheaper!
Cons: too expensive (meals), didn't seem authentic
