Review content:
I was extremely disappointed on my dinner at Oceanaire this past weekend. Yes, the atmosphere is nice and the service is impeccable. All of the staff was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. However, the food was bleh at best. I was very excited to go to Oceanaire since it's Copper River Salmon season. We ordered 2 different preparations of the copper river salmon, and both of them were flavorless, greasy, dry, and overcooked. We had ordered one with foie gras butter. There was no foie gras taste in the dish at all and just tasted like it was drenched in oil. The other dish we ordered was copper river salmon with the porcini mushrooms they serve with the halibut. The mushroom sauce had a lot of mushrooms but the mushrooms were tasteless. The worse part of the meal was that the fish was way overcooked in both orders, leaving it very dry...disappointing
