If you live in Brooklyn and are looking to try something different, you should try Nyonya for malaysian cuisine. The place is located in the center of Brooklyn's chinatown area (8th avenue). The place is a little cozy place and gets crowded easily....the longest wait is about 15 minutes. The food there is pretty delicious. Try the indian pancakes for an appetizer and the ABC shaved ice dessert. Also, try the pearl noodels its very inexpenisve and the plate is a good portion for two people. Prices are pretty decent and the staff there are pretty friendly and would be happy to explain what the items on the menu are. During busy times the wait staff unorganized when taking orders, so be sure to signal for them to take your order. I think this restuarant also has another place in manhattan's chinatown. If you are looking for some place romantic i wouldnt recommend this place, it can get a little loud.
