Businiess name:  Gabay's Outlets
Review by:  AJ C.
Review content:
Have you been dreaming about owning a pair of Manolo Blahniks like every other sex and the city girl? Well, now you can. Gabay's Outlet is a small, dusty storefront in the East Village (close to 13th-14th Street). It's a family-run business and yes, they do have authentic Manolos along with Prada, Gucci and several other well-heeled brands. I was so excited to hear about this store only to be let down. My biggest complaint is that the merchandise isn't new. So, yes those are Manolos but they're like several seasons ago - you can tell because the styles are old and the colors not the norm (didn't see a black pair in sight). Weird heels and odd colors like bright pink, orange, purple, etc. So if you don't mind owning a very old, oddly colored yet still stylish Manolo Blahnik, then this is the place for you. Filled with cast-offs, these shoes are authentic but not very hip. But what can you expect when they get their merchandise from department stores? All the good shoes, styles and sizes are always taken.
