On West Maxwell, near the University of Kentucky campus and a variety of other downtown Lexington shops and restaurants, Bella Rose is known for its large and always colorfully tempting display window, which shows off the latest fashions to tempt any woman with a taste for feminine yet sophisticated clothing. In business for over 20 years in Lexington, Bella Rose is a favorite, independently owned dress shop. I have often driven by and drooled at the beautiful dresses, sweaters, jackets, and handbags in the display window. Too pricey for me, but if you have the dough and you want to spend it on fancy duds that are pretty and professional, but still stand out from the crowd to make a statement, then Bella Rose is the shop for you.
