General Mitchell has really cracked down on the security since Sept. 11th, and I think that is great. You feel safe going in, and although a lot of our privilages like watching airplanes take off from inside are gone, there are other things you can do while waiting.
You can visit a shop, or go eat. There are also sights to see. The airport can tend to be crowded at times, just like anyother.
Parking is cheap if you are flying out, and I don't ever have a problem with theft or damage.
They also have an outside observation area just off of Layton Ave. which is a good place to grab an ice cream and take the kids!
